Semi-Permanent Makeup is a form of tattooing. Depending on the treatment type, it is done by either using a specialist handheld tool that holds disposable microblades, or a tattoo machine. The pigment is implanted into the superficial dermis, which allows me to create crisp, soft and natural-looking results. This treatment is perfect for those who suffer from hair loss, those who have over-plucked & those who have full brows but want to enhance and perfect their shape. Semi-Permanent Makeup can last between 1-3 years depending on maintenance, skin type, medications, sun exposure & lifestyle.

I would strongly only advise you to have microblading if you have normal to dry skin, tight pores and have zero to no hair. Microblading will not particularly suit clients with oily skin types, due to how they will heal. Instead I would recommend that you go for a Combination or Ombre style brow, which is done with the machine method.
• You must be 18 years of age or over. You must not be on medication for acne (Accutane). If you have previously taken Accutane, you must have stopped taking this medication for 12 months before a microblading session.
• Under no circumstances should you have this treatment if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, have type 1 or 2 diabetes/chemotherapy/radiation/cancer. If you have any allergies/disorders/disabilities, please let me know upon enquiry. If you have had previous SPMU done before elsewhere, they must have been done at least one year before your booking or they must have significantly faded, otherwise you will be asked to have them removed first.
The treatment can be slightly uncomfortable, but bearable. Depending on your scratch test, I will use strong numbing cream on you before the treatment. Redheads, blondes and oily/fair skin types may experience more swelling and redness than darker skin types.
• Avoid any activity that will cause you to sweat on the day of your treatment.
• You have to have stopped taking acne medication (Accutane) for one year - no exceptions.
• Avoid caffeine and alcohol the day before, on the day and the day after your treatment. Smoking will cause the pigment to prematurely fade.
• Do not have fake tan/sunburn on your face/brows on the day of your treatment. No sun 30 days prior and post treatment (re-touch also). If you arrive at your appointment with a fake tan/sunburn you will be required to reschedule and your deposit will be forfeited. I reserve the right to apply my own discretion if I feel that pre-procedure advice has not been followed.
• Please keep growing your brows as much as you can before your appointment. I will tidy them on the day. It is also recommended to wait at least 30 days if you have them tinted/waxed after the procedure, so you're fully healed prior to Microblading.
